A student of the All Nations University in Koforidua in the Eastern Region has allegedly fallen to his death from the fourth floor of a hostel in the school.
The student named only as Darlington, a level 100 Oil and Gas Student met his untimely death, early Wednesday.
The circumstances of his death are still sketchy. Joy News’ Eastern Region correspondent Kofi Siaw reports the school authorities are investigating the matter.
This is the second of such unfortunate death in the school this year. 22 year old Benedicta Nana Esi Aidoo, a level 200 Business Administration student, fell from the top floor of the school’s storey building during a prayer session with about twenty other students.
Meanwhile, the School’s authorities have refused to attribute Darlington’s demise to a fall.
The School’s spokesperson, Owusu Acheamfuor, has told journalists in Koforidua that the remains of Darlington Foakye was found lying at the back of the hostel, adding that it will be inappropriate for anybody to assume that the student fell.
He explained that the school has put in place enough security measures to check crime on campus.
