The poor effort of the vetting committee of Limann hall was brought to bare yesterday, 10th November 2015, at the face off between the JCR Presidential aspirants.
Their lack of quality, competence, honesty and knowledge of issues was brought to bare at the face off at the studios of radio universe when Citizen Caleb and Joseph Ackah-Blay asked them obvious questions. The face off revealed the failure of the committee to probe the aspirants deeper and their low standards for passing the aspirants.
Their actions or inactions has put forward candidates who are quite questionable in their ability to perform the role of a JCR president.
Very recently the Akuafo Hall EC reopened nominations for four JCR positions as all four aspirants who applied for those positions put up a poor performance during their vetting (read story here). This is a more commendable vetting committee that seeks to ensure that the right students govern their JCR.
