The University of Ghana matriculation ceremony for the 2015/2016 academic year will come off on Saturday, 17th October 2015.
Matriculation is the formal process of entering a university, or of becoming eligible to enter by fulfilling certain requirements. The ceremony will be organized for resident and non-resident level 100 freshmen, city campus freshmen and graduate freshmen.
Statement from Management
A statement signed by the Director of Academic Affairs, Mr.E.A Amartey reveals that gowns for freshmen will be distributed at the following points
Resident Level 100 freshmen- Halls of Residence
Non-Resident freshmen- College Academic Offices
City Campus Freshmen- Accra City Campus
Graduate freshmen- School of Graduate Studies
The statement further indicates that freshers are required to pick up their gowns and return them by Wednesday 21st October 2015. Freshmen who do not return the gowns as required will be tagged, the statement added.
