Has it ever occurred to you to invest into something?
Do you know what investment really is?
At times you will have to step out of your comfort zones to realize significant gains. Investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth.

We all want wealth, but how do we achieve it?

These are pertinent questions modern youths have no clue to.
In light of this, the treasurer of the University Students Association of Ghana (USAG), Mss. Ophelia Akonobea Asante through her innovative ways thought it wise to bring to the doorsteps of Students, an interactive and educative summit that seeks to elaborate more on the indispensable benefits of investment.

The National Financial Literacy and Investment Summit 2016 is a free program which provides a unique platform and opportunity for all University students to learn and be enlightened on investment and its indispensable benefits.
This summit is targeted at increasing the willingness of students and motivating them into investing in all sectors which can help enhance economic growth, thereby promoting nation building.

The Theme for the Summit is “THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE AND INVESTMENT IN NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”.
The University for Development Studies, Wa-Campus host the first phase of the summit on the 21st of February, 2016 at the School’s Lecture Hall 1. Time is 12:30pm – 3:00pm
The world of investing can be cold and hard. But if you do thorough research and keep your head straight, your chances of long term successes are good.

The National Financial Literacy and Investment Summit 2016 promises to be educative, fun, and fully packed with Dr Mahamudu Bawumiah and Dr. Kwame Ampofo Kusi educating and sharing real time investment tips which makes me wonder why anyone would miss this summit.

This summit is an investment in itself. When it comes to investing, nothing will pay more than educating yourself. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest!
