SRC JUDICIAL BOARD TO HEAR KUMI’S CASE TODAY

Information reaching ugfile from the office of the Chief Justice of UGSRC says that, the substantive case involving Alfred Kumi vs the Electoral Commission would be heard toady 25th March 2017 at the Faculty of Law building.

Background

Alfred Kumi an SRC Presidential aspirant was disqualified from running for the office prior to vetting which was scheduled for Friday 24th of March 2017.
The communique from the Electoral Commission stated “records of the dean” for his disqualification.

Mr. Alfred Kumi filed a petition for an injunction to be placed on the vetting of aspirants pending the determination of his substantive suit.

The judicial board is expected to sit for hearing of the matter at noon today. (25th March 2016).
