NDC ‘invade’ Legon Campus with JM Water

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has embarked on a filtered-water-distribution tour of the University of Ghana today. Students scrambled to get their share of the water, appropriately called JM Water. The move is part of efforts to garner support for its presidential and parliamentary candidate.
The University is part of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency which is currently held by the NPP’s Emmanuel Agyarko.
With the presidential and parliamentary elections only ten days away, political parties have been working themselves crazy to win as much support as possible for their candidates. And Students have been the recipients of freebies, notably books. Pure water is the latest addition.
