university of ghana congregationThe University of Ghana announces that it will hold the second Congregation ceremony for students who successfully completed their programmes during the 2011/2012 academic year on Saturday, March 9, 2013 for the following:

• Faculty of Arts
• Faculty of Social Sciences
• School of Graduate Studies

Accordingly, students who completed their programmes in June 2012 from these Faculties and the Graduate School and wish to be presented during the March 2013 Ceremony are required to register by Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Only those who would have registered by the specified date will be presented. No registration will be permitted after this date.

Graduands are required to pay in cash GH¢ 120.00 at any branch of Ecobank, HFC or ADB and present the payment slip and registration particulars for their graduation gown and souvenirs at the following places:

- Alumni Centre (for Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences graduands)
- School of Graduate Studies (for Graduate Students)
The distribution of certificates will be done at the same venues soon after Congregation.

All graduands will be provided with University souvenirs in the form of neckties for males and scarves for females at registration, which they are encouraged to use on the day.

Those to be presented will be expected to be seated at the Athletics Oval near the Central Cafeteria by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the academic gown appropriate to their degrees, worn preferably over a suit/jacket with tie or other suitable dress.

Provisional results of graduands to be presented in March 2013 are available on notice boards at the Balme Library and on the University’s website, www.ug.edu.gh. Graduands can also access the information from their online accounts (MISWEB). Supplementary results will be published soon.

PLEASE. NOTE.:
To avoid traffic congestion on the day:
1. All entry and exit points to/from the University would be opened to the public.
2. The general public is advised to use alternative routes if they do not have any immediate business on the Legon Campus.
