Akuafo hall celebrates its hall week and Legon speaks today. The arguably biggest show of semester will take place today as the students of Akuafo Hall and others of the University of Ghana speak on “Ghana’s Tomorrow, the Youth As Stakeholders”.
This is a programme organised by the Akuafo Hall JCR as part of the hall’s 60th anniversary and annual week celebration. The week celebration has already seen a lot of interesting programmes including the Adinkra durbar and the gospel rock show which had performances from O J, the Trinity Baptist Church and other artistes.
Today, the celebration will continue as leaders of Ghana join Akuafo in the celebration. Dr Ndoum- a business man and a politician , Hon Agyarko, the memeber of parliament for the Ayawaso West constituency and others will speak on the theme quoted above on the future of Ghana considering the stake of the youth. Dr Nduom whose party( The Progressive People’s Party) believe in the youth will dig deep into the theme. Other well to do speakers in the political sphere like the deputy transport minister will also be speaking.
The programme is scheduled to take place at hall’s quadrangle at 3:30pm and is open to all students.
