In the early hours of today, honorary student activist, Prince Kissi released a statement via his Facebook account that has generated a lot of reaction from friends and critiques alike.
The statement which many have interpreted as a suicide statement claimed that his mother should be blamed for his death which would occur in 15 minutes from the release of the statement at about 11 hours GMT.
From a comment retrieved by UNDERGRADFILE on the post, the case has been reported to the police by Eleazer Nana Yaw Quayson. Many are also worried it could be sabotage considering a statement Kissi released via the same Facebook account on the 25th of June claiming to be threatened by some individuals via mobile calls.
There’s also a possibility of impersonation since the same account posted on the same 25th June that he, Kissi, would be unavailable until the following Tuesday and his mobile phone would be in the custody of one Philip Gheho.
All attempts to reach Prince Kissi since the ‘death post’ have proved futile. In the meantime the post continues to generate reactions, many of which point to the direction that Kissi is threatening suicide. If that is so, his motive is unknown at this time. Others think the previous SRC VEEP hopeful and student activist of the year 2016 is just seeking public attention.
Prince Kissi is a level 300 student of the University of Ghana reading Political Science and Philosophy.
