During the early hours of Friday , a heavy rainfall on the University of Ghana campus caused a big tree in front of the College of Agriculture and Consumer science to be forcefully uprooted causing a temporal road block.
The rains which lasted for over an hour resulted in choked gutters ,submerging of heaps of refuse on the principal streets of Legon campus etc
Fortunately no casualties were recorded. Moreover , the university authorities reacted fast as the emergency response team of the school and security services are on course to remove the uprooted tree from the scene and further ease flow of vehicles across the road.
Students are advised to take necessary precautions during this times
