GHIAN Foundation, a health NGO, marked its first year anniversary with a visit to Vome in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region last Saturday. At Vome, the foundation gave a talk and donated stationery to the pupils of the Vome Methodist Basic Schools.
Started a year ago by some students of the University of Ghana led by Belinda Banoenumah, GHIAN Foundation focuses on educating people on how to keep the spine healthy and aligned by observing good postures. In the twelve-month period of its existence, it has educated hundreds of people on spinal health, visited many schools and engaged individuals and made donations to underprivileged pupils.
GHIAN Foundation has been the lead student-led health NGO that focuses on spinal health in Ghana. And for its members, GHIAN foundation is set for greater heights.
