FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES DEPARTMENT MARKS GOLDEN JUBILEE AND FACSSA WEEK

The Family and Consumer science department of University of Ghana Legon marks golden jubilee 50years of providing quality education to the Ghanaian youth. The theme for this year’s anniversary is; the role of consumer science in nation building.In conjunction with the golden jubilee celebrations,the Family and consumer sciences students association presents its 49th annual FACSSA week. The week-long event is expected to take place from 9th March to 13th March. The events promises to be an exciting one with program line up as follows massive clean-up/float, Career fair, inter-departmental debate, exhibition, open day and educative trip to the Wli waterfalls, Afadjato Mountains and Likpe Ancestral caves. The event which will take place at the Consumer science annex R3 will be graced by Lecturers, Deans and Senior Faculty members.
The highlights of the FACSSA week will be the educative and fun trip to the tallest mountain in Ghana Mt. Afadjato, Wli waterfalls and Likpe Ancestral caves. All students of Legon community and other tertiary institutions are cordially invited.
