The Legon Hall JCR Court hearing the case involving Adu Gyamfi Donaldson (Plaintiff) and Legal Adviser, Electoral Commission (Defendants)have ruled that the Plaintiffs and Defendants settle the matter utilizing an out of court settlement as muted by both parties.
The court in its ruling described the ECs disregard of the Interlocutory Injunction granted to halt last Friday’s Election as ‘gross defiance of its orders”.
The court has further directed the EC to issue an apology to the entire JCR as punishment for contempt of court.
The court was presided over by Frimpong C.J with Kwakye ,J and Kyeremaa, J as panel members.
Donaldson Adu Gyamfi was represented by Asare Kwabena as Counsel while Kweku Attakora Dwomoh was the Counsel for Defendants.
